According to the lighting, the main door was probably right behind us, I don't think it was a big flash, but the shadows do suggest it. I think there was plenty of light from all sides in here, it must have been problematic when it was a dark day. There aren't that many lights in this room, some sockets don't have bulbs in it. Speaking of lights, there is a task light with a red handle hanging from the ceiling, above that is a spool of wire. So they had those for a long time. It doesn't have a safety cage though.
The device on the right, should be a tire refitter. I couldn't find vintage models of it though, but all of them were red for some reason, so that's why that's red. Same with the lathe in the back, I found a red one, and used it as a tie in color.
I have no idea what that thing on the ceiling is, to me it looks like a crane of some kind, but it doesn't lift up very much. It has a lot of stress on it, the belt is falling apart (I think its also some kind of rubber belt).
I'm also not sure what that drill like thing is on the left on that stand.
The shop has seen a few upgrades, the wheels on the right don't match those of the left, bracket wise.
