Description
There was once a time when you feared that pole. I believe that it meant blood letting, since the barber was the do all of the town. From pulling teeth, letting blood, to shaving and getting a hair cut. Though very convenient if you think about it, get it all done in one day. These days all I think about are peppermint canes.

You did a fantastic job on this Mike! My dad was a barber, so I can so much relate to this one! vf tw

Very nice - I see the influence of Norman Rockwell here. Love the rich color and the quality of the light.

Mike, Fantastic capture taking everyone back to yesteryear with the old fashioned barbershop pole and giving us a nice interior detailed look into the barbershop. I remember those chairs and the pole being safe outside all day and night or else hanging from the awning. Great capture with the colors and fantastic detail in the shop and outside of it. Great shot, voted FB promoted my Pick of the Day 3 in Lets All Participates thread
