Original Title: Firemen spraying burning building on 14th st
Location: Next door to the Pratt Institute on 155 west, 14th St, NY
It was tough naming this because they didn't mention the building that was burning down. Then I saw that odd sign that said Surprise on it, still wondering what that was for, it fit quite well.
I assume they tore that building down, the two remaining buildings on the right are still here to this very day. The large one is the Pratt institute.
I used yellow in the trolley because I saw many old postcards of the area and they all agreed on a yellow color.
If you look on the 3rd floor, you'll see Laurel & Hardy in the window. Both pointing down, making you wonder if they ever made it down, or just went back in and kept on working.
Oddly it seems that in those days, everyone was just so lackadaisical about dangerous situations. Standing around on a 3rd floor sill while a building next door burns down. People gathering on a sidewalk, right below a hose dropping roof debris, everyone standing so close to that building.
