Years ago, Scalco came to the United states as a poor immigrant. He was able to create a profitable business by becoming a banana tycoon. He started by selling banana's for the red cross, selling them at about a dollar a bunch. Some people paid more for the cause. He was a very good salesman, if a cop came in asking what all the ballyhoo was all about, he would explain his credentials and he would keep selling. He was able to make about $200 for the red cross (unknown how much he made).
Later on he figured out a way to sell banana's to the local prison system. Explaining that they are very nutritious, and they are very hard to hide thing in because they bruise so easily.
