The first thing I thought of when I saw this, was all the horror movies that uses little girls. Usually innocent looking, but always hiding something, and eventually you just die some terrible death. That's what this reminded me of, mostly the one on the right.
I cropped this tight on the girls, this had too much background in it. Though, due to my crop ratio, I ended up cropping some of that truck off. Mostly I wanted people to catch the blue eyed girl first.

beautiful colorizing work. amazing in the detail and the way you kept a vintage look. and that little girl's blue eyes really do pop out. I can see the contrast in the sentimental mood with a sinister hidden drama. but maybe that's in the eyes of the beholder. I also always think there is something spooky about cute little dolls. But obviously everyone doesn't think that. really a stunning image

i think what makes little girls creepy is when they look kind of alike, and kind of look up while looking down. i have a few others with a set of girls just seemingly out of place. the more i stare at it i think its an innocent piece with two girls and sleeping dolls, and yet it could go either way... ---Mike Savad MikeSavad.com
