G is for Gears - Clockwork is what makes clocks and watches work. Its a small device that is often overlooked. Its what makes many machines work, the size of the wheel, tooth pitch, shape, etc, all determine what function that gear does. It meshes with other gears making things work at a certain speed. It can change how a car moves, how fast your watch goes, and it's found in almost everything mechanical in one form or another.
