The image: The original image was brighter, but I wanted a more isolated look, so all eyes are on the red car. It ended up looking foggier in some areas due to up close grain/noise. I liked a night look because I wanted it to feel more gloomy. That object in the center, I have no idea what it is.
The Coloring: Pretty much simple, I looked up car colors from this era, 1939 matched the cars pretty well to what I saw here. I didn't want to much color because that would become distracting.
