Description
I've been sitting in the back of this hangar for a long time. My wings droop a little now, not from damage, just age. Dust covers my frame, and sunlight from a high window still finds its way to me, warming the old wood and canvas.
I remember when I used to fly. Back then, people looked up in amazement. My engine roared, and the sky felt wide open. It was all new, exciting, and I was part of it.
These days, I watch the newer planes come and go. They're faster, sleeker. Nobody really pays me much attention anymore, but that's okay. Things change. It's quiet here, and I don't mind. I've had my time.
Still, sometimes I wonder if someone might come by, wipe off the dust, and ask if I've got one more flight in me. The truth is, I just might.
