Description
The evolution of the mixing console traces its roots back to the early days of radio broadcasting and studio recording. As magnetic tape recording emerged, the need for sophisticated audio mixing equipment became evident. At first the controls were quite simple with simple bass and treble controls, as time moved on, they could control the finer points of sound.
By the 1980's, analog circuits were being replaced with digital, they could have recallable presets, built in effects, they could attach it to a computer. And as time moves on it just keeps getting more advanced.
