Description
This is an English Setter, they are usually used as pets and companions. Graceful and gentlemanly, strong with swift movement, always alert, outgoing and merry.
For 400 years, English Setters have been used as hunting dogs, in England. They would hunt for grouse, pheasant and quail. When they catch the scent, they would crouch down low, this would tell the hunter where the bird is, so they can flush it out and catch it with a net or simply shoot it.
As a side note, the tail sticking out like this usually means they are scanning their environment or they feel apprehensive about something.

How in the world did you get the setter to hold its tail out for you to get the capture. Well, since you did (apparently) I congratulate you on your determination as well as artistry!

it was simply like that. got it at a parade, he was standing against a blue wall, it made it ever so much easier to cut out.
