Description
Barbering as we know it, goes back over a hundred years. Back some 200-300 years they used to do dental work and blood letting in the barber shop. If they were bad at shaving blood letting was free, no charge for that.
Barbers had to know how to shave then. While today its a luxury, in the past, people didn't really know how to use their razors safely (presumably), and probably got a shave often.
Today people still get shaved the old fashioned way, using a frothy lather, and a straight edge razor to get all that hair off.
