A storm is coming and everyone is getting ready by tying all the boats together to keep them safe. Better that then losing them all.
The red building on the left is known as Motif #1, it's a small fishing shack that was built in 1840, and then rebuilt in 1978 when a Winter storm knocked it down. This spot has been painted and photographed by hundreds of artists and photographers and that's how it got its name. Its the first thing you see when you visit this location.
