Seeing how the past lived is kind of fun. Usually there is far more advanced technology than you would actually realize. Things they had then, we have now. The case in there is refrigerated, They have lights that seem pretty modern. It's pretty neat.
The image itself had many ghosts. Due to the room being so dark, the exposure must have been long, and I guess the people behind there sat very still, or the others moved very fast. Originally I was going to leave the ghosting in, but it simply looked too stupid.
The photographer used a rather strong flash which tossed extra shadows in, I cloned those out and toned it down a bit. I'm certain this room was pretty dark, despite the windows.
Trying to identify items in here, I wasn't sure why there was a stack of what looked like melons. The potatoes, make sense. In the background on the right, there is what looks like a taffy puller, that's why I made those things pink.
