I'm not totally sure of the address, but this is what came up when looking for them. This is Theordore Hildebrand and Son Chocolates. They were founded from 1817 to almost present, where I believe they were bought by another company. They were keen on steam, started using it in 1830. The were known as "steam" chocolates in his day. He was able to mechanize the process so it was faster and he could make more, and at a lower price.
This is the retail section, bowls filled with treats of different kinds. Strange machines that did something, chef's in place to create more things. The image was taken for the Cash register though, the photographer was tasked in photographing these registers for advertisement purposes.
This chocolate company became famous when it introduced visions of the future, 12 fun cards showing a sort of steampunk view of the future. In 1900, at the Worlds fair in paris, they put these cards into boxes of chocolate. and to see all of them, they would have to buy a number of boxes. It worked very well, so well in fact that other companies copied them. We can still see those cards today, some are actually pretty accurate. Like moving sidewalks or fighting fires with flying.
