When you think of science in general, you think of chemistry. While there are plenty of other fields, it's the colorful bottles and odd equipment that people think of. Biology would be second, up until they see that frog spread open, then it goes right back to pleasant chemicals.

Mike.. I'm an organic chemist and this whole gallery is great. You are right on with the descriptions for the time period. Now it's all PPE and fume hoods and you can't smell or taste anything. Artificial sweeteners can't be synthesized by accident anymore. Great Job. I will be back to this one over and over.
