Original title: White Taven hamburger stand was the popular place in Amsterdam, NY
Location: Corner of E Main St and Church St, Amsterdam, NY
I had a really hard time finding the address of this place. Much of this location was bulldozed for a mall or other buildings. I finally found it on a fan page that remembered eating here, and knew the location. And it was verified by that building with the arches, towards the back. From the mid point forward, none of these buildings exist today.
The White Tower restaurant was a clone of White Castle, the sign gives it away, buying it by the bagful. I was able to get colors from a few remaining buildings and some model train models. They theme was an Art Deco outside, white and clean inside. Chrome and blue accents. I still don't know if those buildings are blue or chrome. Each building is different.
For the background buildings, I used splashes of color, as they still have similar combinations today.
