I was able to find a few postcards of this, each had similar colors, the building may have been tan though, the roof was red in a few of the cards. I made it into an Autumn scene because it needed more color. Though looking at this picture I'd say its probably the middle of summer.
I'm 90% certain this is the center island in Boat lake, if your familiar with the area. But there are no pictures of the park or anything from google to verify what it really looks like now.
I'm also confused what that building is. They called it a changing facility, but to get there you need to get into a boat. There isn't enough room to swim, and what are you changing into? In the winter they would ice skate, so maybe they would change into skates... but they would slide on the ice without them, so maybe not.
The park we are in is Druid Hill Park, it was of the first large public parks in America, and it was the largest municipal park in Baltimore. It had a zoo, and still has a zoo it just changed names. They also created their own reservoir that was 30 ft deep and 55 acres long, filled with 429 million gallons of water in it.
Fun Fact: Before lawnmowers, they used to employ a shepherd, and his flock would trim the grass.
