Original title: Entertainers at a Negro tavern

Location: 31st and Federal St, Chicago, IL
Located in the heart of Bronzeville, this is Tony's tavern, which opened up around 1900. It was owned by Tony Finkelstein, and hosted a few music legends: Louis Armstrong, Cab Calloway, Duke Ellington, and Estelle and Jimmy Yancey. But they also showcased some local talent, such as these people who feature a female drummer.
The menu specialties of the house were gumbo, fried shrimp and hot dogs.
