Original Title: The Arcade

Location 401 Euclid Ave, Cleveland, OH
This is the Arcade in Cleveland, OH, also called the Crystal Palace. This image was taken between 1910-1920. It's an old building that is still in use today. Interestingly, the current version of the building looks older than it did than when it first opened.
It was built in 1890 by the Detroit Bridge Co, its one of the few remaining arcades of its kind in the US. It was modeled after the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II located in Milan. The Arcade has two buildings on either end 9 stories tall. The skylight is a 100ft tall, 300ft long, and is made up of 1800 panes of glass.
The building itself is made up of three parts, the two main buildings are on the front and back, and in the center is this arcade. It was made an historic landmark in 1975. This building still exists today, but instead of it being an office building and a mall, its now a hotel. The first few floors still have cafe's and stores in it. The upper floors are hotel rooms, the lower section has weddings.
