Description
Corning, NY - This is Centerway square, its known as the heart of Market Street. This clock tower was built in 1883 as a memorial for the town founder, Erastus Corning.
It stands at 50 ft high, with a bell that weirs 1400 pounds. At one point it served as a watering spot for horses. Today this location is used as a place to eat lunch, they hold different events here as well.
