Just a charming bit of American from above, below us is Ebby's Diner, a small eatery, probably cooking up bacon, eggs and sausage, which probably smells great against the cold air. You may smell a bit if laundry as well, as there is a laundry place near by.
Seems like a nice area, complete with a hotel, another restaurant near by, and easy access to streetcars. That little train shed on the left at the end, that used to be the original train depot.
Today this area changed quite a bit, in fact 90% of it is gone, Ebby's was removed who knows when and it was replaced by a large building, that hotel was removed in the 1970's, the only thing left today is that one in the middle with the arched windows. Also those exact streetcars which are being used elsewhere, and its where I got the colors from.
I wanted all the lights to be on, something about winter, dreariness and the comfort of little lights seems to go together.
There was a lot of white edges on this image, I'm not sure what it was from, but it was pretty annoying to remove.
