Location: 860 Bursum Rd, Mogollon, NM
The colors in the town currently are more or less earth tones, so I went with almost the same colors for this as well. Figuring that they probably used the original colors when they restore this. Beyond that I went with wood tones and a bit of brighter colors for fun.
This town used to be a big gold rush town, they dug it from quartz mines. But as the price of gold dropped, they left the town and now it sits empty. Some of the buildings remain though, such as the general store and the stone one on the right. The street is now divided by a large trench on one side.

Went to this place a few months ago. The most terrifying drive I have ever been on. Then the place was closed!! It really looked cool, but I'll never be able to go back. You know now when I think about it, when researching this place I may have seen your picture and was like, yeah let's go there :}
