The colors in the town currently are more or less earth tones, so I went with almost the same colors for this as well. Figuring that they probably used the original colors when they restore this. Beyond that I went with wood tones and a bit of brighter colors for fun.
This town used to be a big gold rush town, they dug it from quartz mines. But as the price of gold dropped, they left the town and now it sits empty. Some of the buildings remain though, such as the general store and the stone one on the right. The street is now divided by a large trench on one side.
My name is Mike Savad, I create one of a kind images. Photo realistic, is what people think of first. I specialize in job themes, such as Pharmacist, Doctor, Firemen, Lawyer, etc. Steampunk is another favorite. I'm certain you will find something that you will like. My art is inspired by Norman Rockwell and Paintings from the time of the Renaissance. Be sure to visit my Scene in Color section. I expertly restore and colorize black and white images. See the past come alive with color. Each image is painstakingly cleaned and repaired, colors are researched and shaded in. Images are designed to coordinate with the rest of my collection. The past was far more colorful than you would have imagined. Want something fun to do? Sometimes I hide...

Went to this place a few months ago. The most terrifying drive I have ever been on. Then the place was closed!! It really looked cool, but I'll never be able to go back. You know now when I think about it, when researching this place I may have seen your picture and was like, yeah let's go there :}
