Many buildings you see here still exist today. The center most building, city hall, is there, but the colors are different. Old images showed the top as brown, I think its because its made of copper, it was built in 1901, and that amount of time, the copper would look brown.
I had to find a lot of postcards for the other buildings, like the one on the right, the theatre. Those domes ranged from red, blue, and all green, I decided on a yellow and red theme, since I wanted it to pop a little bit, and there were clearly stripes of some kind. The building on the right with the towers, doesn't exist. But that hotel on the left does.
They gave a wide date range for this image. Ranging from 1894-1910. The building on the right was completed in 1896, the one on the left, the hotel, I read that they enlarged the height of it in 1910, but I got mixed messages on when...
