Original Title: View of 13th St, West side, looking South from H St.
Photographer: DC Street Survey
Location: 736 13th St, Washington DC
Near as I can tell these buildings don't exist any more. Either that, or I was looking in the wrong spots. There is a large series of this location done as a street survey, and they often do that right before the demolish it, so it might be related to that.
I originally liked the grocer and that cart. But looking at it closer, there were also cool signs. Like a teapot, and there is a smoke stack right above it, I wonder if it looked like steam?
Further down the road is a giant key and a pair of extra large scissors. I've always liked signs shaped like stuff.
I was surprised that the mailboxes were yellow, When I looked up white mailbox I couldn't find anything. And I think that is a moving truck in the center, that blue wagon. There is a pile of sheets on the sidewalk.
