Original title: People's Drug Store
Location: 14 & U, Washington DC
I like looking at old stores, seeing how much as changed, if anything, over the years. This is a People's Drug store, interior (now they are called CVS). When I started making this, I didn't realize there was so many cigar and cigarette devices. But thinking about it, we have the same amount today, also out of hands reach.
Finding the old ad's for them was harder, since many of them were too hard to read. A few I couldn't find at all, despite having it so clear - like Sino Cigars, I couldn't find it. I was able to find the Egyptian Deities though. For the most part this place is made up of smokes and chocolate.
There wasn't a lot to repair in here. I removed a dark line on the bottom right. and that's about it.
If you were wondering about the ceiling fan which has no blades, it may be a cooler month and they took them off so soot wouldn't get on them. The doors oddly swing from both directions, I thought that was interesting and odd. And that thing on the counter that looks like a train whistle, is a cigar lighter. And the guy behind the counter is worked way too hard, he's a sleep.
