As I entered the crypt, the first thing I noticed was the putrid smell of rotting flesh. It was far too dim to see anything. I had heard rumors of this castle being haunted or harboring a monster, but I never believed in such tales until today. As I walked through the long, dusty corridors, a staircase caught my eye. Moonlight streamed through a window, highlighting a door. As I entered, my eyes began to adjust to the low light, and that's when I met the vampire. He seemed nice enough; we engaged in conversation. Then he bit me. Now I live here. Just great.
