There wasn't a lot of info about this thing. From what I gathered, its from 1907, and from Germany, the building address I have is not the exact building but one very much like it. The truck is an electric fire truck that used an electric motor to pump water, as opposed to a coal and steam pump.
It was supposed to save on labor and time, it was lighter and cheaper than the old kind of truck. But it had limitations as it needed to be charged. You needed a city grid or it would not work, and they were not popular because of that.
I couldn't find if the truck was also powered by motors, I assume it did because I see no exhaust pipes or a place for an engine. There are a few more truck images from this series and they also have no engines.
If anything its really weird and interesting, especially the seating. Looks dangerous.
