Description
Paphiopedilum insigne is a species of orchid endemic to the Indian states of Assam and Meghalaya. This subspecies is green in color matching the background quite well. Orchids sure come in some strange colors don't they?

Hi Mike- This is an intriguing Orchid - who would have thought ? It reminds me of a Jack in the Pulpit . Maybe they're related . Congratulations on being featured great pick. V
