When you have a lot of service trucks, repairing them can become very costly. It was cheaper to simply have your own garage so you can service the cars yourself. And that's what this company did. This is the C&P telephone company, and this is one of their service cars.
They can do a complete overhaul as you can see here, and considering the amount of motors they are working on, the company must have been very hard on their equipment.
