I'm not totally certain why they took this photo, it was a part of an engineering section, so I'm assuming it has to do with having new lights. There were quite a few images of grocery stores having new lights and were so proud they took a picture to remember it.
All I do know is, its very well lit, you could call it glaring even. Usually I light the lights, but this already had that done.
If you look very carefully in the gray, I missed them at first, you can see the owners of the store. Two ghosts, one with a derby and the other with hair, sort of hiding on the left. I was wondering where the people were. I'm guessing that it was a really long exposure, and they ducked behind the counter.
I also found it weird that there was no real name to this store, I can't believe they called it the Fruits, candies and ice cream store, that doesn't roll off the tongue well. And even if they were showing off the store, they didn't say where this was located. I started to look but gave up pretty fast.
While its a small store, it was very complete, I think its more like a quickie mart though. Not enough to do a full shopping, just the basics like cigars and soup, a gallon of ice cream and a row of apples, with maybe a ripe banana for the road.
