It's weird, there are 2509 Carnegie libraries around the world, this is the 7th one, built in 1898, and yet there is very little actual useful information about this building. Or what it looks like inside. I found pictures of a large stage and a dark shot of the library.
I guess its because its a library, not much to talk about.
Anyway, this library is still in use today, though it doesn't seem to look like this today, in this picture its 2 years old. I think it was taken to show off the architecture, and not so much that they ladies are wearing hats indoors.
I thought it was sort of interesting how the younger generation has the Edwardian look of small corset hips. and the older behind the desk has that Victorian look.
