I'm not totally certain these guns are for a battleship or not, the only reference I could find had to do with a big-gun battleship, and this is the big gun section. So its probably related.
The hard part about making this is, I don't know where the cannon starts and the lathe ends. I assume the areas that have a spray catcher is a part of the cannon. I'm not sure what they are doing in this scene however. There are a number of hoses just sort of tied in place, I assume they either dispense air or oil to it. One machine is draining oil at a high rate.
You can also see how much metal comes off these things, they need shovels to get rid of it all. It also looks like it was modernized, as the motors all have hook holes in it, and those control panels look out of place. That low hanging belt noise would drive me crazy.
