There's a good reason why guys in those days didn't have long hair. Everything was belt driven, your whole head could get stuck in one of those belts, and believe me, that will ruin your whole day. Nothing worse then getting your head stuck in the machinery. Then poor old Henry from maintenance, will need to use his "stick" to knock you down, and then he has to recalibrate the system. You don't want to anger poor old Henry do you? So keep your hair short, and don't lean into the machines.
