I've always thought of stereopticons as being really old, but this image was for that device despite being from 1929. I guess they were still using them back then. This school had a whole batch made, maybe it was a cross between advertisement and raising money for the school.
This is Carter Harrison Technical High School, it opened in 1912 after the former Mayor of Chicago, Carter Harrison. They were a 4-year high school, located in South Lawndale neighborhood. It was owned and operated by the Chicago Public Schools district. For around 50 years it served as a vocational school.
