This is a trade school where kids learned valuable lessons on how to use machines to go out into the workforce. This particular school was the McKinley Manual Training School that opened in 1902, it was a vocational school for white students. However they moved the school to a new location that was larger in 1928, which they then renamed the school to the Shaw Junior High School, which by the 1960's, fell into disrepair and it was locally known as the "Shameful Shaw". Eventually it closed as a school and became a home for senior citizens named the Asbury Dwellings.
It's unknown where this building existed or if its even still there. I couldn't find if they carried this program over to the junior high, I'm thinking no.
