Often you don't see those chip shields in a factory space, or maybe its just that I've never seen it from this point of view. They were fancy though, lined with pipe with little decorative end caps. Some of the motors on the lathes had painted stripes on it, the one in the front looks like it was updated as it didn't match the others.
This factory, Delahaye automobiles, located in Paris France, used to make really fancy looking cars. Cars I never seen in pictures, on the streets, or even museums. They almost looked like concept cars. So when they came up with an early tank design, it looked like a child made it. A narrow frame, with 4 triangular wheels, each with its own tread. On top a small gun turret, I assume manned by a single person, painted silver.
I couldn't tell if it ever left the prototype stage...
My name is Mike Savad, I create one of a kind images. Photo realistic, is what people think of first. I specialize in job themes, such as Pharmacist, Doctor, Firemen, Lawyer, etc. Steampunk is another favorite. I'm certain you will find something that you will like. My art is inspired by Norman Rockwell and Paintings from the time of the Renaissance. Be sure to visit my Scene in Color section. I expertly restore and colorize black and white images. See the past come alive with color. Each image is painstakingly cleaned and repaired, colors are researched and shaded in. Images are designed to coordinate with the rest of my collection. The past was far more colorful than you would have imagined. Want something fun to do? Sometimes I hide...
