I've been to many pharmacies and of the bottles they have materials inside, some are colored some are not. Now I don't know if any of these pills had specific colors, other than knowing they made elegant medicines. They created a machine that could press pills quickly and evenly, so I assume they had a large variety of colors as well. And the gray scale image seems to support this.
I do know they like showing colored globes, so at least for presentation value it was probably colorful.
See those dark areas on the floor? That's probably water seepage, they put the wood directly on the ground.
And if you look carefully on the right you'll see the camera that shot this, minus the shy photographer who will be lost to history.
