This is the Vultee Aircraft factory from around 1942-1943, and this part of the factory, only makes the Vultee A-31/A-35(V-72) Vengeance for Great Britain.
From what I can tell, they painted everything afterwards, though I found it odd that the roundel was put on before the main color? It looks like the wings were primed, or maybe they were green? I can't really tell, I made them primed they seem really scratched up though.
The actual color of the planes is how they look on the right, a tiger like camo pattern. Some had a blue/silver bottom, but the tops were striped.
I did find it interesting that the tail sections were totally painted up ahead of time, and yet the nearly complete planes have plain tails. I'm not sure what colors the lights were, I tend to make my lights incandescent colors. These might have been mercury vapor lights, its hard to know though without seeing a bulb.
