Description
The patchwork quilt is a symbol of togetherness, sewing, and reusing old things to make new things. Repurposing things was done in the old days, and is making a come back now. In this example, pieces of cloth are sewn together to make one big blanket. Often this is accomplished by townsfolk, in which a giant blanket is then formed. The blanket would then be borrowed by different people, or everyone would get underneath it at the same time.
