Steampunk - RR - The train dispatcher 1943 Side by Side
Photograph - Colorized Photo
Colorized photo from 1943 Original Title: A dispatcher at work in the Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe Railroad offices Photographer: Jack Delano Location: Marceline, Missouri
This is made up of two pictures, one had the guy looking down (the bottom half) and the one with him looking up (the top half). I stitched the two together because I could. However there were a ton of shadows from some kind of super flash the photographer was using, which I had to remove, because I wanted to redirect the light.
I found that very clock online so I got the colors from that. The lamp was probably a light green, but I thought pink would look nicer. The center median is glue chip glass, traditionally clear, but green looked nice.
The lights on the board are based on what was there, those were the gems that lacked detail in the facets compared to the others. Looking up the colors, this board is found in all dispatchers and they use a series of lights like this
