Considering how much work went into hanging 4500 model airplanes, painting giants signs, all those flags, one would think there would be postcards of this station. And yet, the best I could find was a picture of them demolishing it, something from 1960 and I think 1940. Luckily there are enough angles that was able to figure out all the flags. It seems flags are either light or dark blue or red or combinations there of.
I've made this image before but from the other direction, so I borrowed colors from that.
I removed some stuff from the floor because it didn't add anything, I'm not sure what those things are in the arch, I figure they are either lockers or some kind of vending machine. Either way they had chrome at the top, and I thought it could use a kick of color.
I wonder what the echo was like in there?
