I really thought that the train would be green, its so dark looking. But after a lot of verifying, look at toys, references, actually cars, its yellow color, sort of an organgy yellow. The color changed over the years, light, dark, brown, back to yellow again, so I made it yellow. I was able to find the exact car that had the stained glass window in it. The car itself is from 1907, and from the photos I found it was used till at least the 1950's.
The station, exists today, though I had a hard time finding it at first. There is a museum in the middle of no where, that comes up when you look for this company. I finally found the building, its in the middle of town, its a bright yellow, looks like this train does now. Which then I assumed that the original station was also this color. But if I made it the same color as the train, then both objects would blend together. So instead I chose a light yellow, the same color as their older trains, to stay on theme.
Today this building is a Masonic lodge, and I think a bar. And its nice that it was preserved, it was built in 1872. I'm still not sure how people go on board, there is a wide gap between the train and the ground.
