Colorized photo from 1912 Original Title: Three trucks: S.M. Frazier Photographer: Harris & Ewing Location: Anacostia, Washington DC These old wooden trucks, there is never really any data on them. I guess because they are wood they rot away into nothing? But I found a little out. They are Wilcox Trux, they made trucks from 1906-1928. They used these 3 to show off what they looked like. People could come down and see the new truck. Only none of these look new to me. I have no idea what their colors could have been like. I was able to find trucks like it, and their later trucks from the 1920s. Bright blue kept coming up. Each has its own shade, each has its own font and lettering. So based on that I figure they must have different colors. Using toys and other trucks, I came up with this color scheme. I'm not sure where this business was though. I forget where they thought it was located, but when I looked, there were no hills any where like this shows.
