This thing is a malt mixer, it makes malts. What's a malt? A malt is a milkshake that has a malt extract which is made from sprouted barley that has been dried and ground into a powder. The malted milk adds a distinctive flavor to the ice cream, often described as rich, malty and slightly sweet. It can enhanced the overall taste and texture of the ice cream, creating a nostalgic quality.
Originally malted milk powder was used as a nutritional supplement. But it gained popularity as a flavoring ingredient in beverages and desserts, it creates a more complex and satisfying flavor.
