The original was dark and dirty. I wasn't sure about the color of the dome, as some paintings had it red, blue or gold. I liked the red combo, it pops better. But it must have been amazing to be there. That machinery building held a ton of large machines all working.
A large steam pump delivered lemonade, they had long distance calls from around the country, recorded to phonograph, then replayed to people on Lynotype machines. They then took that into the newspaper dept, where they took wood fiber, made paper, printed it and gave it away as a gift to everyone, it took only 63 minutes.
That huge basin, they actually held Roman style battles in it. But today not much of this exists, only the water, and a replica of the statue.
