Original title: Brooklyn Bridge Terminal
Location: Adams St, Brooklyn NY
I mostly liked the signs in this, there were just so many, and as recognizable as some of them are, I couldn't find a single one. I debated if the Quaker Oats sign background was blue or red, all the post cards showed red. So red it was.
I also couldn't decide if i should keep that massive old red tower on the right. It was dark and distracting and it sent the eye in the wrong direction. But with the other reds in the scene, I think it balances out.
Today, this location has pretty much none of these buildings. There was one place called - Eagle Warehouse, and that building still exists, but I don't know if its in this picture beyond the sign. Even the skyline is different.
I'm not even sure if this location I gave is accurate. I matched the first curve I could find, and it seems to kind of match up.

My name is Mike Savad, I create one of a kind images. Photo realistic, is what people think of first. I specialize in job themes, such as Pharmacist, Doctor, Firemen, Lawyer, etc. Steampunk is another favorite. I'm certain you will find something that you will like. My art is inspired by Norman Rockwell and Paintings from the time of the Renaissance. Be sure to visit my Scene in Color section. I expertly restore and colorize black and white images. See the past come alive with color. Each image is painstakingly cleaned and repaired, colors are researched and shaded in. Images are designed to coordinate with the rest of my collection. The past was far more colorful than you would have imagined. Want something fun to do? Sometimes I hide...
