Description
Standing lonely by the sea is a cottage long left and abandoned and yet the colors remain bright and cheerful admidst the oncoming storm of summer. The sea is dark and threatening; partially hidden by the cottage with the red roof, and yet amidst all the turmoil that nature threatens, sweet wildflowers grow around the cottage surrounding it with feelings of yesterday's happinesses which were shared there, and maybe they still are.
Cottage By The Sea is a painting I have taken a lot of license with and have textured the painting post scan to bring about a mildly aged appearance, and yet not too much to distract from the colors.
