Colorized photo from 1908
Original title: Engine room, str, City of Cleveland
Location: Floating some place in a boat
At first I thought this was a power plant for Cleveland, till I looked further, and found out this was a boat, which makes more sense, because its rather small for a power plant. I did manage to find a postcard, but they chose turquoise for the engine, and it probably was, but it didn't have impact. So I chose red and brass for a more vintage look. The lower right corner was totally in shadow, and missing a corner.
I think this was originally a print, because there was a lack of tonality over the whole thing, I wasn't able to extract detail from the shadows like I would have liked to.
