Artist's Description
Fine lines, planes just aren't built like this any more. This is a Caudron G.4 engine, they used them in a pair so they could add a gunner in the center. This was a bomber class plane from 1915. While probably more practical than pretty, the copper pipes did add a certain sleekness to the design, as did the bright red propeller.
